BONE REGENERATION

Bone is the biological material supporting the tooth in the jaw.

When this bone level is reduced, it leads to tooth mobility and eventually the loss of the tooth.

The bone reduction may take different shapes such as irregular or angular defects.

The surgery is called Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR).

This technique uses either a membrane or a protein to encourage fill-in of the bone defect with new supporting bone.

Bone regeneration results are excellent and have a good degree of predictability.
